Meet Elizabeth
I feel lucky to have a job I love so much. Though I studied fashion design during my undergraduate education, I have always been able to utilize creativity and love for kids. After working as a childrenswear designer in New York, I moved to Colorado where I pursued my master’s degree in counseling and trained in play therapy at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. I am a military spouse, so I have been fortunate to live in places all across the US and find ways to serve children and families in many different roles. Currently, I am in the last year of my doctorate in counseling at the University of North Texas. As a professional counselor, I have worked with children and individuals who have experienced adversity due to community and domestic violence, substance use, loss and separation, and chronic mental health concerns. Regardless of what people are experiencing, my hope is to help children, individuals, and families use their strengths to navigate their challenges and grow in the ways they find meaningful.
I live in Keller with my husband, and sweet dog and cat, Henry and Pam. In my spare time, I love to spend time outside, travel, and enjoy time with my friends and family. It’s important to me to stay active and work towards wellness in every part of my life.
I am looking forward to supporting you and your family!

My love for working with children and adolescents began at the age of 14. As a gymnastics instructor, I enjoyed helping children facilitate both their physical and psychological growth. My passion for mental health developed not long after, during a time that I experienced my own mental health issues and did not have someone I thought I could disclose my struggles to.I graduated from the University of North Texas with my B.A. in Psychology. I pursued my Master’s in Professional Counseling at Sam Houston State University, focusing in Play Therapy.I am a LPC-Associate # 86380 in the state of Texas. I am supervised by Mariah J. Tailleur, LPC-Supervisor #66631.
Meet Susan
Each person possesses a unique healing power and intelligence that resides within, that guides their distinctive, mysterious, and evolving growth path. My approach to therapy honors an individual’s ability to connect with their inner wisdom that leads to their unique healing power. Knowing that mind, body, and spirit are intimately interconnected and are essential aspects of each of us, I honor the whole person and consider mind, body, and spirit in context and relationship rather than work with these elements in isolation. We are often faced with uncertainty in life, and individuals strive for a sense of meaning. The patterning of life events may heighten feelings of helplessness and confusion. Biologically, our nervous systems are designed in such a way that the brain and body automatically configure and store incoming stimuli into meaning-making patterns. These meaning-making patterns may contribute to heightened states of stress.
